Job summary

Cornerstones of Care in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Functional Family Therapist to join our Outpatient FFT team. The role supports 10-14 families, with flexibility in scheduling and autonomous practice, under the Clinical Manager - FFT.

Qualifications include a Master's degree and Kansas licensure eligibility, plus background checks and valid driver's license. A strong commitment to trauma-informed, evidence-based care is essential as we serve Johnson County and surrounding counties.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a field eligible for Kansas BSRB licensure.
• Being currently licensed by the Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board to practice in Kansas is preferred.
• At least 21 years of age and pass background check, physical, and drug screening.
• A valid driver's license in the state you reside in, proof of current vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Engages clients and families with immediate responsiveness and a strength-based focus.
• Documents services and plans treatment using the FFT model in the CSS system.
• Uses MyAvatar and other required systems to manage confidential client information.
• Monitors progress and adjusts treatment phase as indicated.
• Demonstrates fidelity to the FFT model through the phase system.
• Addresses core family issues contributing to referral to assure quality service.
