Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Fleet Service Manager – Autonomous Vehicles to lead a team of technicians keeping a growing robotaxi fleet in peak condition. You will drive KPIs, coordinate with client leadership, and ensure safety, quality, and timely repairs across all shifts.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in vehicle repair or fleet operations.
• Experience managing 25+ vehicle technicians.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Experience with partners, vendors, or large accounts.
• Data-driven mindset with KPI interpretation.
• Proficiency with scheduling platforms and CRM/operations systems.
• Ability to support 24/7 operations with varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Establish work priorities and KPIs for fleet maintenance operations.
• Collaborate with client leadership and AutoNation as liaison for fleet needs.
• Close work orders accurately and on time per SOPs and policies.
• Maintain reporting systems for AutoNation and clients.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, safety, and quality standards.
• Identify gaps and implement corrective actions.
• Manage 24/7 shift coverage across multiple service functions.
• Lead and develop up to 10 direct reports and ~150 indirect reports.
