Amerit Fleet Solutions in Detroit, MI, seeks an Autonomous Vehicle Fleet Manager to lead a team of service technicians and deliver exceptional client experiences. You will drive safety, optimize technician utilization, and ensure timely maintenance and repairs for autonomous fleets.

The role emphasizes team development, HR policy adherence, and cross-functional collaboration with operations, finance, and procurement to meet KPIs and client demands.

Qualifications

• Experience with Electric Vehicles and/or Autonomous Vehicles is required.
• Proven ability to build and lead a strong team in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Safety & Compliance: Focus first on safety, health, environmental compliance, and quality of work.
• Team Management & HR Responsibilities: Hire, manage, schedule, and develop the team; uphold HR policies.
• Technician Development: Train technicians and promote leadership and skills growth.
• Workload Management: Oversee workload, dispatch work efficiently, minimize downtime.
• Problem-Solving & Issue Resolution: Assist technicians in troubleshooting and resolving issues.
• Process & Inventory Management: Ensure defined processes and on-time parts procurement.
• Billability & P&L Responsibility: Meet minimum billable hours to satisfy P&L targets.
• RO Management: Ensure ROs are scheduled, completed, and closed per client needs.
• Executive Presence: Escalate disputes and provide clear resolutions to customers.
• Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration: Work with HR, Finance, Procurement, and others.
