Job summary

MPAC Healthcare is seeking Licensed Clinicians (LPC, LMFT) to deliver high-quality mental health care to seniors at on-site facilities. The role operates with the autonomy of private practice but without back-office hassles, focused on clinical care and documentation.

The position involves a structured 40-hour work week, mainly clinical work with some patient documentation and facility correspondence, and you will lead an interdisciplinary team to address residents’ emotional and psychological

Qualifications

• Have a master's degree and a valid LMFT/LPC license in the state for which you are applying.
• Two years of counseling and therapy experience.
• Ability to work as a member of a team with a great attitude.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Mental Health diagnoses and therapeutic approaches.
• Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patients receive care.
• Foster open communication with facility team and your Regional Clinical Manager to ensure the success of clinical programs.
• High level of organization to manage patient needs, document effectively and ensure the mental health needs of residents are met.
• Comfortable with the ever-changing environment of a skilled nursing facility.

Responsibilities

• Work on-site with residents and their families.
• Lead an interdisciplinary team addressing residents’ emotional, social, and psychological needs.
• Manage caseload, schedule, and ultimately, salary potential.
• Provide initial assessments and utilize psychotherapy to address mental health issues and offer ongoing support.
• Responsible for all documentation requirements and staying up-to-date on Medicare benefits and insurance plans.
