Job summary

MPAC Healthcare is seeking Licensed Clinicians (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) to provide high-quality mental health care for seniors in a facility setting. Clinicians will work on-site with residents and families, leading on an interdisciplinary team and managing their own caseload and schedule.

Qualifications

• Two years of counseling and therapy experience
• Master’s degree and a valid LCSW/LMFT/LPC license in the state where you are applying
• Ability to work as a member of a team with a great attitude
• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health diagnoses and therapeutic approaches
• Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patients receive the best care possible
• Ability to foster open communication with the facility team and Regional Clinical Manager to ensure success of clinical programs
• Ability to take initiative and effectively communicate with multiple parties (patients, families, staff, and other MPAC providers)
• High level of organization to manage patient needs and documentation

Responsibilities

• Provide initial assessments and utilize psychotherapy to address mental health issues and offer ongoing support
• Be on-site clinical provider working with residents and their families
• Lead as part of an interdisciplinary team of physicians and nurse practitioners
• Manage your caseload, schedule, and salary expectations
• Document thoroughly and stay up-to-date on Medicare Benefit and commercial insurance plans
• Contribute to the success of clinical programs through proactive communication
