Job summary

MPAC Healthcare is seeking Licensed Clinicians (LMFT/LPC) to provide compassionate mental health services for seniors in on-site settings. The role offers autonomy similar to private practice, with most time spent clinically while also handling patient documentation and facility correspondence.

We require a Master’s degree with a valid LMFT/LPC license in the applying state and at least two years of counseling experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree and a valid LMFT/LPC license in the state for which you are applying.
• Two years of counseling and therapy experience
• Ability to work as a member of a team with a great attitude
• Demonstrated knowledge of Mental Health diagnoses and therapeutic approaches
• Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, including other MPAC providers
• Ability to communicate with facility team and Regional Clinical Manager
• High level of organization to manage patient needs and documentation
• Comfortable with the changing environment of a skilled nursing facility

Responsibilities

• Work on-site with residents and their families.
• Lead an interdisciplinary team addressing residents’ emotional, social, and psychological needs.
• You have the opportunity to be in charge of your caseload, your schedule, and ultimately, your salary.
• Provide initial assessments and utilize psychotherapy to address mental health issues and offer ongoing support.
• Responsible for all documentation requirements and staying up-to-date on Medicare/insurance plans.
