Job summary

Ken Garff Automotive Group, including Hamer Toyota, is seeking an Automotive Title Licensing Clerk. The role supports title processing, vehicle registrations, and DMV documents within a fast-paced dealership environment.

A Monday–Friday schedule, competitive pay of $22–$26/hour, paid training, and benefits are offered. 1 year title clerk experience required; 2+ years clerical preferred; strong MS Office skills desired.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a title clerk position required.
• 2+ years of clerical and/or administrative experience preferred.
• Must be able to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software products and general computer use.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform and prepare all legal documents needed for DMV transfer.
• Process new and used vehicles for registration and titling.
• Prepare tax and title documents for vehicles.
• Verify funds and ensure correct lien holds before processing titles.
• Quality check documents submitted for completeness.
• Bill out dealer trades as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

**The pay scale above is the compensation range that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position. Within this range, individual pay is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, specific skills, relevant work experience, relevant education and/or training, and performance related bonuses and incentives.

Here’s what you'll be doing:

• Perform and prepare all legal documents needed for the transfer for the Department of Motor Vehicles
• Process new and used vehicles for registration as needed to be titled.
• Prepare all tax and title documents for vehicles
• Verify that all funds are processed, and the correct lien hold is paid before processing the title applications
• Quality check all documents submitted to ensure the application has all information needed.
• Responsible for billing out dealer trades as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Here’s what you'll need:

• 2 or more years of clerical and or administrative experience preferred
• Must have the ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software products, and the general use of a computer and calculator
• High School Diploma or equivalent
