Job summary

ACV Auctions is seeking a Sr. Sales Executive to expand dealer partnerships across the assigned territory.

You will own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, with in-person visits, calls, and regional events to build relationships with dealer principals and senior decision makers. In this mobile, field-based role you will qualify opportunities, present ACV's data-driven platform, and negotiate agreements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of B2B field sales experience.
• 5+ years selling within the automotive industry.
• Proven track record of closing deals with high-level decision makers.
• CRM fluency (Salesforce preferred) to manage, plan, and report on your sales pipeline with precision.
• Strong analytic mindset with ability to use data to make decisions and prioritize outreach.
• Built for a mobile, territory-based role, comfortable traveling.
• Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension).
• Valid driver's license and vehicle ownership required.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a prioritized prospect list within the assigned territory.
• Execute high-volume outreach via in-person visits, calls, and events.
• Qualify prospects using ACV's framework and assess opportunities.
• Lead in-person discovery meetings to understand client needs and workflows.
• Position ACV's products against dealer channels with data-driven value propositions.
• Conduct live platform demos and educate dealers on ACV policies.
• Negotiate and close seller agreements.
• Coordinate with Territory Managers for target accounts and handoffs.
• Record and manage pipeline in Salesforce daily.
• Aim to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Track regional market dynamics and feedback.
