Job summary

ACV Auctions is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to grow our dealership client base across assigned markets. You will travel daily to engage dealers, assess their needs, and present ACV’s data-driven marketplace solutions. The role emphasizes trust, transparency, and proactive service.

You will use Salesforce to track activity, forecast opportunities, and report performance while building lasting relationships and driving revenue growth for the company.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of dealership experience in used or new car side.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English fluently.
• Experience selling into dealerships; auction knowledge preferred.
• Willingness to travel daily to existing and prospect dealerships.
• Strong understanding of retail/wholesale marketplace and networking.
• Excellent relationship-building skills in person and on the phone.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic plan to grow new business in your territory.
• Service accounts in person and by phone; seek incremental growth.
• Build relationships with dealers and dealer groups to maximize revenue.
• Forecast and report monthly and annual activity.
• Ensure customers understand ACV products and services.
• Provide consultative selling and solve customer needs promptly.
• Manage vehicle condition inspectors and KPIs within your book.
• Adapt to changing priorities and internal structure.
