Job summary

ACV Auctions seeks an enthusiastic Territory Sales Manager in a role requiring strong dealership experience and a passion for cars. You will act as the face of ACV Auctions, traveling to dealerships and auctions, building relationships, and driving revenue growth through consultative selling and strategic territory planning.

In this field-based position, you will use Salesforce daily, manage vehicle inventory needs for customers, and forecast activity to meet or exceed targets.

Qualifications

• 5 years of dealership experience in either used or new car sector.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Experience selling into dealerships; auction knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Actively support customer experience enhancements.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to grow in territory.
• Visit and service accounts in person and by phone for growth opportunities.
• Use Salesforce daily for reporting and tracking.
• Meet or exceed sales goals and revenue targets.
• Build relationships with dealers and dealer groups to maximize revenue.
• Learn competitive landscape and sell against competitors.
• Forecast and report monthly and yearly activity.
