Job summary

ACV Auctions is seeking an enthusiastic Territory Sales Manager with automotive experience to expand our dealer network and drive revenue. The role requires energetic field work, relationship building, and a strategic plan to grow in your territory.

You will regularly visit dealerships, leverage Salesforce for reporting, and work toward meeting or exceeding sales goals while educating customers about our product offerings and services.

Qualifications

• 5 years of dealership experience (new or used)
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Experience selling into dealerships; auction knowledge preferred.
• Willingness to travel daily to dealerships.
• Strong relationship-building skills in-person and over the phone.
• CRM experience to manage sales pipeline (Salesforce preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle required.
• Adaptable to shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Actively support efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
• Develop and execute a strategic plan to grow and build out new business in your territory.
• Service accounts in person and via phone, looking for incremental growth opportunities.
• Use Salesforce for reporting and tracking on a daily basis.
• Achieve or exceed established sales goals.
• Develop relationships with dealers and dealer groups to maximize revenue opportunities.
• Be familiar with competition and how to sell against it.
• Forecast and report incoming business activity monthly and annually.
