Job summary

ACV Auctions is seeking a Territory Sales Manager with a strong background in the automotive space. The role focuses on growing a dealer network, delivering excellent client service, and maintaining transparency and credibility in all interactions.

The candidate will travel daily to dealerships, leverage Salesforce for reporting, and work to meet or exceed sales goals while educating customers on our full product suite. ACV emphasizes growth, autonomy, and a people-first culture.

Qualifications

• 5 years of dealership experience (new or used car sector).
• Fluent reading/writing/speaking English.
• Experience selling into dealerships; auction knowledge preferred.
• Willingness to travel daily to dealerships.
• Experience using a CRM, preferably Salesforce, to manage the sales pipeline.
• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic plan to grow business in your territory.
• Service accounts in person and via phone; seek incremental growth opportunities.
• Build relationships with dealers and dealer groups to maximize revenue.
• Forecast and report monthly/annual activity.
• Educate customers on ACV Auctions products and services.
• Manage day-to-day activities of Vehicle Condition Inspectors and KPIs.
• Travel frequently to existing and prospective dealerships.
• Maintain current customer satisfaction and respond to needs quickly.
