Pep Boys in Nashville, TN is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair tire and automotive services while delivering an excellent customer experience. You will explain technical findings to customers and coworkers, stay updated with rapidly changing automotive technology, and train peers to maintain a high standard of work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year automotive diagnostic/repair experience.
• ASE certs preferred (A4 Steering & Suspension, A5 Brakes).
• Section 609 cert preferred; state inspection license a plus.
• Ability to explain repairs to customers and coworkers clearly.
• Must have a valid driver's license and pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair automotive systems to specifications.
• Explain diagnostics and needed repairs to customers and teammates.
• Learn new automotive technologies and stay updated.
• Mentor and assist fellow technicians; keep a clean, safe shop.
