Job summary

UPS Automotive Technician position is part of the fleet maintenance team, maintaining a diverse range of vehicles and propulsion systems, from diesel to alternative technologies like CNG and electric.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing hydraulic brakes, electrical systems, and engine controls, with ability to work 2nd or 3rd shifts across varied schedules depending on location.

Qualifications

• Current documented automotive mechanical experience.
• Experience using diagnostic equipment, scan tools and personal computer.
• Possesses full complement of personal hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Meets D.O.T requirements for the job assignment.
• Bends, stoops, squats, kneels, crouches, climbs ladders and stairs, stands, walks, and turns/pivots frequently.
• Operates standard and manual transmission; uses power and pneumatic tools.
