Job summary

UPS is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our fleet maintenance team in the United States. You will maintain a diverse fleet including delivery vehicles, heavy-duty tractors, and trailers, with propulsion systems ranging from diesel to electric in select locations.

Roles involve troubleshooting hydraulic brakes, electrical systems, and engine controls while working 2nd or 3rd shifts as needed. Require your own hand tools and an active driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Active driver’s license issued by the state of residence.
• Willing to work 2nd or 3rd shifts depending on location.
• Possess the required hand tools for the job assignment.

Responsibilities

• Meet DOT requirements for the job assignment.
• Inspect and service diverse equipment including delivery vehicles and heavy-duty tractors.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and engine systems.
• Operate standard and manual transmissions and power tools.
• Maintain a safe work environment and comply with safety protocols.

Skills

Automotive maintenance experience

Diagnostic tools & PC usage

Personal hand tools

CDL preferred (Class A/B)
