Job summary

UPS is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our fleet maintenance team. You will maintain a diverse range of vehicles and propulsion systems, including diesel, gasoline, and alternative technologies.

The role requires troubleshooting hydraulic brakes, electrical systems, and engine controls, with shifts across 2nd/3rd periods depending on location. The ideal candidate has current automotive experience, familiarity with diagnostic tools, and carries a full set of hand tools.

Qualifications

• Active driver’s license required by state.
• Experience with automotive diagnostics and repair.
• Must possess full set of personal hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair on delivery vehicles, tractors, and trailers.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic brakes, air brakes, electrical systems, and engine controls.
• Operate standard and manual transmissions and power tools.
• Work various shifts as needed by location.
