Job summary

UPS is seeking an Automotive Technician to join the fleet maintenance team. The role covers delivery vehicles, heavy-duty tractors, and trailers with diesel, gasoline, and alternative propulsion systems.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing hydraulic brakes, electrical systems, and engine controls, while complying with DOT requirements and safety standards. Must lift up to 70 lbs and work varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have automotive mechanical experience.
• Experience using diagnostic equipment and scan tools.
• Able to operate a computer for diagnostics and records.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a diverse fleet including delivery vehicles, tractors and trailers.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic brakes, air brakes, electrical systems and engine controls.
• Operate standard/transmission vehicles and power tools.
• Meet DOT requirements and follow safety procedures.
