Job summary

UPS is seeking an Automotive Technician to join its fleet maintenance team. You will maintain a diverse fleet, including delivery vehicles, heavy-duty tractors and trailers, with diesel and gasoline propulsion systems.

The role requires troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic and engine systems, and performing tasks with the proper tools and PPE across varying shifts. A valid license and tool kit are essential.

Qualifications

• Active driver's license required.
• Willing to work 2nd or 3rd shifts depending on location.
• Own hand tools required.
• Experience in fleet maintenance and heavy vehicles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meets D.O.T requirements as needed.
• Operates vehicles and power tools in daily tasks.
• Maintains hydraulic brakes, air brakes, electrical systems and engine controls.
• Works across varying shifts with safety and efficiency.
