Job summary

UPS in the United States is seeking a reliable Automotive Technician to join our fleet maintenance team. You will maintain a wide range of vehicles—from delivery vans to heavy‑duty tractors and trailers—and work with diesel, gasoline, and alternative propulsion systems.

You must have your own hand tools and a valid driver’s license, and be willing to work 2nd or 3rd shifts where required. Success in this role depends on diagnostic skills, task accuracy, and dependable attendance to keep our UPS

Qualifications

• Current automotive mechanical experience.
• Experience with diagnostic equipment and scan tools.
• Own a full complement of personal hand tools.
• CDL Class A/B or A CDL is preferred.

• Meet DOT requirements for the assigned job.
• Operate standard and manual transmission vehicles.
• Use power and pneumatic tools as needed.
• Maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
• Report to work regularly and on time.
