Job summary

Morrie's West Salem Kia is seeking Military Veterans with mechanical experience to start a rewarding career as an Automotive Service Technician. This role is part of the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP), which offers a one-year competency-based apprenticeship leading to Kia Service Technician certification.

The program provides Veterans the opportunity to work full-time at a Kia dealership while receiving training, tools, and support. Join us to develop your skills in diagnosing, servicing, and repairing Kia vehicles in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Must have an Honorable Discharge from U.S. Military Service.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Prior experience in a mechanical or technical field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles, including engines and transmissions.
• Perform vehicle inspections and mechanical repairs using Kia diagnostic procedures.
• Complete repair orders and warranty documentation according to policies.
