Job summary

A leading automotive company is seeking Military Veterans with mechanical experience for the Automotive Service Technician position. Participants will join the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP), providing full-time employment and training while working towards Kia Service Technician certification. Veterans will develop necessary skills for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing Kia vehicles. The program is GI Bill approved, offering financial support during the apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• Honorable Discharge from U.S. Military Service.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Prior experience in a mechanical or technical field.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership service environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles.
• Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostics.
• Complete repair orders and warranty documentation.
• Test drive vehicles to verify repair quality.
