Job summary

Kiavets in West Salem, WI, is looking for Military Veterans with mechanical experience to start a career as an Automotive Service Technician. As part of the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP), you will gain hands-on dealership experience while completing a GI Bill® approved apprenticeship for Kia Service Technician certification.

This full-time position offers opportunities to work alongside experienced technicians, developing knowledge and skills necessary to service Kia vehicles effectively. Training, tools, and support are provided to ensure your success in the automotive industry.

Qualifications

• Honorable Discharge from U.S. Military Service.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Prior experience in a mechanical or technical field.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles.
• Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostics.
• Complete repair orders and warranty documentation.
