Kiavets in Columbia, MO, is looking for Military Veterans with mechanical experience to join their Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP) as Automotive Service Technicians. This program provides full-time employment and leads to Kia Service Technician certification.

The position offers hands-on training, tools, and support to help Veterans transition into the automotive industry while receiving a Monthly Housing Allowance through the GI Bill®.

Qualifications

• Honorable discharge from U.S. Military Service is required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record needed.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Kia vehicles including engines and electrical systems.
• Perform inspections and diagnostics using Kia procedures.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors.
