Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Service Manager II to support the Service Manager and lead a team in delivering exceptional automotive service. You will ensure safety, assign duties, and monitor daily operations to meet customer needs.

You will hire and develop associates, coordinate training, schedule shifts, and oversee compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards while representing the location in performing essential duties.

Qualifications

• Two years related experience in automotive service management.
• Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended.
• ASE C1, P2 and G1 certifications or equivalent preferred.
• State inspection license where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure workplace safety is priority and follow safety policies.
• Carry out duties of the Assistant Manager position.
• Learn VIP processes and lead a team to deliver exceptional customer experience.
• Schedule the team to meet customers’ needs during all hours of operation.
• Monitor team communication, hold daily huddles and bi-monthly meetings.
• Manage dispatch and assignment of work orders to technicians.
• Attend off-site meetings and training as needed.
