Job summary

FullSpeed Automotive is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations across the service bay, front counter and back office. This hands-on role develops leadership and customer service excellence in a fast-paced automotive service environment.

You will coach technicians and service advisors, supervise scheduling, monitor safety, and ensure a clean, compliant shop while driving quality service and customer trust.

Qualifications

• Leading and motivating a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for customer interactions.
• Ability to manage cash handling and POS systems.
• Willingness to work weekends/holidays and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in supervising daily operations and stepping in during the manager's absence.
• Coach, train, and motivate technicians and service advisors to deliver high-quality service.
• Assist with scheduling to ensure proper coverage during peak hours.
• Help onboard new team members on service procedures and customer service standards.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment reflecting brand values.
• Greet customers, explain services, and build repeat business through service excellence.
