FullSpeed Automotive is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead day-to-day operations across the service bay, front counter, and back office. You will support the Store Manager by coaching technicians and service advisors, scheduling coverage, onboarding new staff, and maintaining a safe, efficient, high-quality automotive service experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a retail, automotive service, or customer-facing leadership role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment that includes time in the service bay.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills; comfortable using point-of-sale and inventory systems.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and some holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ASE certification(s) or willingness to obtain certifications as required by brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily operations in the manager's absence.
• Coach, train, and motivate technicians and service advisors to deliver high-quality service.
• Assist with scheduling team members to ensure proper coverage during peak hours and busy seasons.
• Onboard and train new team members on service procedures, POS, and customer service standards.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment reflecting company values.
• Greet customers, explain services, and promote additional services per manufacturer guidelines.
• Assist with daily store operations including cash handling and inventory oversight.
• Support safety compliance and tracking of key performance metrics.
