Job summary

Plaza Tire Service in Murray, Kentucky, seeks an Assistant Manager to lead sales and service operations. You will greet customers, document concerns, promote services, provide accurate quotes, and keep the shop running smoothly when the store manager is away.

Ideal candidates have some service-advisor or sales experience, a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work five days a week including Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience as a Service Advisor is helpful, but not required.
• Prior experience in sales, customer service or an automotive related field.
• Professional appearance and proven ability to work in a process driven environment.
• Possess valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days per week, including Saturday’s.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a professional and courteous manner in person and on the phone.
• Listen to and document customer concerns; inspect vehicle and verify service needs.
• Recommend services and communicate additional recommendations from the technician.
• Promote the sale of services, parts, and accessories.
• Provide accurate quotes with cost and completion times; update customers daily.
