Job summary

Plaza Tire Service is seeking an Assistant Manager to drive sales and promote the full range of automotive services. You will help manage the shop workflow and act as manager on duty when the store manager is out.

The role requires a high school diploma, related experience in sales or automotive service, and a professional appearance. A valid driver’s license and the ability to work weekends are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in sales, customer service or an automotive related field preferred.
• Experience as a Service Advisor helpful but not required.
• Professional appearance and ability to work in a process-driven environment.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers professionally in person and by phone.
• Document customer concerns and inspect vehicles to identify service needs.
• Recommend services and clearly communicate additional recommendations from technicians.
• Provide accurate quotes including cost and completion time; update customers throughout the day.
• Cash out tickets and explain warranties and inspections to customers.
• Perform post-repair follow-ups and manage returns/warranty parts.
• Other duties as assigned by store management.
