Job summary

Plaza Tire Service in Murray, KY is seeking an Assistant Manager to drive sales and service excellence, supervising the team and operations when the store manager is away.

You will greet customers, quote services, document needs, and promote parts and accessories while maintaining company standards and delivering clear updates on service progress.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior service advisor experience is helpful.
• Sales, customer service or automotive-related experience preferred.
• Professional appearance and ability to work in a process-driven environment.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be at least 18 years old.
• Availability to work five days per week, including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers professionally in person and by phone using standardized service techniques.
• Listen to and document customer concerns; inspect vehicle and reference service history to identify needs.
• Recommend services and document any additional recommendations from technicians.
• Promote services, parts, and accessories with product knowledge.
• Provide accurate quotes including cost and completion time; update customers on progress.
• Process payments by reviewing completed inspections and warranties.
• Follow up after service to ensure customer satisfaction; track returns and warranty parts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
