Plaza Tire Service in Paducah, KY is seeking an Assistant Manager to drive sales and service excellence. You will lead the shop team, promote services, and ensure smooth daily operations on duty when the store manager is away.

This role combines customer care with automotive expertise, offering commission-based earnings and a pathway for advancement within a trusted Midwest tire specialist.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in sales, customer service or automotive-related field is helpful.
• Professional appearance and ability to work in a process-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers professionally in person and on the phone using standardized service techniques.
• Listen to customer concerns, inspect vehicle, and reference service history to identify needs.
• Recommend services and clearly communicate additional recommendations; document in the customer file.
• Promote services, parts, and accessories with product knowledge.
• Provide accurate quotes including cost and time; update customer on status throughout service.
• Follow proper checkout procedures, review multi-point inspections and warranties.
• Conduct post-repair follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction and track returns and warranty parts.
• Other duties as assigned.
