Job summary

Plaza Tire Service in Murray, KY seeks an Assistant Manager to lead daily shop operations, promote services and manage the team on duty when the store manager is absent.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, documenting needs, quoting service times and costs, and tracking returns. The role offers $50,000-$80,000 per year, with hourly pay plus commission, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience as a Service Advisor is helpful, but not required.
• Prior experience in sales, customer service or an automotive related field.
• Professional appearance and valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to work five days per week including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a professional and courteous manner in person and by phone.
• Listen to concerns, inspect vehicle, and verify service needs with history.
• Recommend services and communicate additional recommendations from technicians.
• Promote services, parts and accessories with clear product knowledge.
• Provide accurate quotes with cost and completion time; update customers daily.
• Follow cash-out procedures, review warranties and inspections.
• Conduct post-repair follow-up calls to ensure satisfaction.
• Track returns and warranty parts for customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
