Pep Boys in Marietta, GA is hiring for an Automotive Service Associate. You will be the first point of contact, engaging customers, scheduling appointments, and selling parts and services to keep vehicles running at peak efficiency.

You will handle work orders, process transactions, perform express services like tire mounting and oil changes, and ensure safety and quality in a fast-paced store environment. This role requires a high school diploma and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• One year of related experience in the automotive service environment preferred.
• One year of sales experience preferred.
• Basic mathematical concepts for commissions and discounts.
• Strong verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work Days, Nights, Weekends, Holidays.

Responsabilités

• First point of contact for customers in-store or on the phone; engage customers, schedule appointments, and sell parts and services.
• Organize and manage service work orders and register transactions; knowledge of service and parts.
• Assist management with customer care, work orders, register tasks, facility maintenance, and Outside Purchase ordering.
• Follow policies on cash, credit, check, refunds, and returns; address service issues and opportunities.
• Conduct express automotive services: tire mounting, balancing, rotations, oil changes, etc.
• Ensure safety procedures and SOP-compliant wheel/tire and fluid services.
• Collaborate with management to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
• Communicate clearly with associates and customers; retain and apply information accurately.
• May assist with opening/closing duties in designated locations.
• Maintain an organized, neat shop and comply with policies and environmental rules.
• Other duties as assigned.
