Job summary

Pep Boys Inc. is seeking a customer-focused associate to engage customers at the service desk, on the sales floor, and at the register. You will drive appointments, explain processes, and promote parts and services to keep vehicles running efficiently.

Ideal candidates bring experience in automotive service and sales, strong math and communication skills, and flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Join a team dedicated to customer care and safe service delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver's License.
• One year of related experience in the automotive service environment.
• One year of sales experience preferred.
• Strong math skills for commissions and discounts.
• Strong verbal and customer service skills.
• Ability to work Days, Nights, Weekends, Holidays.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for customers on the phone and in the store.
• Schedule appointments and sell parts and services to meet customer needs.
• Process work orders and register transactions accurately.
• Maintain an organized service desk, shop, and sales floor.
• Follow cash, credit, check, refund and return policies.
• Perform express automotive services and safety checks.
• Collaborate with management to address customer issues.
• Assist with opening/closing duties in designated locations.
