Job summary

Pep Boys Inc. is seeking a customer-focused associate to engage customers, schedule appointments, and upsell parts and services on the sales floor, service desk, and register.

You will support store operations, handle work orders, and ensure compliance with cash handling policies while delivering fast, friendly service to keep customers' cars running smoothly. Responsibilities include performing express services, communicating timelines, and maintaining a safe, organized shop.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver's License.
• One year of related experience in the automotive service environment.
• One year of sales experience preferred.
• Must have basic knowledge and understanding of mathematical concepts and ability to apply formulas for commissions and discounts.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for customers in-store and over the phone, scheduling appointments, selling parts and service to maintain vehicle performance.
• Organize and manage service business through work orders and register transactions.
• Support management with customer care, work orders, and store operations.
• Follow policies on cash handling, refunds, and returns; address customer issues and opportunities.
• Perform express automotive services including tire mounting, balancing, rotations, oil changes and inspections.
