Pep Boys Inc. is seeking a customer-focused associate to engage customers, schedule appointments, and sell parts and services to keep vehicles running at peak efficiency. You will handle in-store and phone inquiries, process transactions, and support management in safety and policy adherence while maintaining an organized service area.

Experience in automotive service and sales is preferred. This role is full-time and on-site, with opportunities to grow within a busy retail service environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year of related experience in the automotive service environment.
• 1 year of sales experience preferred.
• Basic mathematical skills including percentages and fractions for commissions and discounts.

Responsabilités

• First point of contact for customers in-store and on the phone, engaging customers and scheduling appointments.
• Process work orders and register transactions; perform vehicle inspections and knowledge of parts and services.
• Assist in various aspects of customer care, work orders, and store operations under management.
• Follow policies on cash, credit, checks, refunds, and returns; address customer service issues and opportunities.
• Conduct express automotive services such as tire mounting, balancing, oil changes, and basic repairs; ensure safety procedures are followed.
