Job summary

Pep Boys is seeking a Full-Time Service Desk Associate to engage customers in-store and on the phone, schedule appointments, sell parts and services, and uphold our Customer Care standards to help customers get their cars running smoothly.

You will assist with service work orders and register transactions, keep the shop organized, and follow safety procedures while delivering fast, friendly, and reliable automotive service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience in automotive service or sales preferred.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for customers on the phone and in the store, scheduling appointments and selling parts and service.
• Organize and process work orders and register transactions; thorough vehicle inspections.
• Assist management with opening/closing and daily shop operations.
• Follow policies on cash handling, returns, and customer issue resolution.
• Perform express automotive services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and battery checks.
• Maintain safety procedures and a clean, organized shop environment.
