Job summary

Pep Boys Inc. is seeking a customer-focused associate to be the first point of contact for customers in-store and over the phone. You will engage customers, schedule appointments, and help sell parts and services to keep vehicles running at peak efficiency.

In this role you will handle work orders, register transactions, and maintain an organized shop while following safety and policy guidelines. Some locations may require opening or closing duties and daily cash handling.

Qualifications

• First point of contact for customers by phone and in-store.
• Engages customers, schedules appointments, builds trust, understands needs, and communicates processes and timelines.
• Assists in cash, credit, check, refund and return processing and follows company policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer engagement at the service desk, sales floor, and register.
• Organize and process work orders and transactions to support service and parts sales.
• Assist management with opening/closing responsibilities where required.
• Maintain a clean, organized shop and adhere to safety policies.
