Midas is seeking an Automotive Manager in Training/Service Writer in Indiana (Valparaiso) for a store-manager development role. You will help with basic service and sales, handle phone calls, set appointments, and interact with customers.

Training and internal promotion are emphasized. Responsibilities include delivering exceptional customer service, building repair orders, presenting pricing, overseeing inspections and repairs on various vehicles, and maintaining inventory and shop

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of store or service manager experience preferred

Aufgaben

• Deliver exceptional customer service and consult customers
• Follow up with customers on requested services and estimated completion times
• Oversee vehicle inspections and make repair recommendations
• Present pricing estimates and promote shop service specials
• Oversee technicians’ inspections, diagnostics and repairs on various vehicles
• Maintain inventory counts and shop cleanliness
• Perform basic service tasks such as oil changes and tire rotations
