Midas - Touch of Gold in Frankfort, Indiana, is seeking Automotive Managers in Training/Service Writers. This store-manager development role will help with basic service and sales while training to handle calls, schedule appointments, and interact with customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of store or service manager experience.
• Strong automotive knowledge is helpful.
• Excellent customer service disposition and communication skills.
• Ability to follow directions and processes; proficient with computers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service while listening to and consulting customers.
• Follow up with customers, services requested, estimated completion times etc.
• Oversee complete vehicle inspections and then make comprehensive recommendations—building computerized repair orders and sourcing parts.
• Deliver and discuss pricing estimates with customers as well as promoting shop service specials.
• Oversee technicians’ inspections, diagnosing and repairing of domestic, European and Asian cars and light trucks.
• Maintain inventory counts.
• Overall cleanliness and organization of the facility.
• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and very basic technician jobs.
• Other duties as assigned
