Zusammenfassung

Midas is seeking Automotive Managers in Training/Service Writers. This store manager developmental role combines customer service, basic service tasks and sales while training to handle phone calls, set appointments and interact with customers.

We are focused on training and promoting from within, with responsibilities that include inspections, repair order creation, pricing discussions, and promoting shop specials. Bi-weekly commissions supplement base pay.

Qualifikationen

• A minimum of 2 years of store or service manager experience is preferred but not required.
• General automotive knowledge.
• Excellent customer service disposition.
• Good communication skills.
• Leadership ability.
• Team building skills.
• Ability to follow directions & process.
• Ability to use computers & software.
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license.

Aufgaben

• Deliver exceptional customer service while listening to and consulting customers.
• Following up with customers, services requested, estimated completion times etc.
• Oversee complete vehicle inspections and then make comprehensive recommendations—building computerized repair orders and sourcing parts.
• Deliver and discuss pricing estimates with customers as well as promoting shop service specials.
• Oversee technicians’ inspections, diagnosing and repairing of domestic, European and Asian cars and light trucks.
• Maintain inventory counts.
• Overall cleanliness and organization of the facility.
• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and very basic technician jobs.
• Other duties as assigned.
