Job summary

Mills Auto Group in Raleigh, NC, seeks an Automotive Service Manager to lead the service department, drive customer satisfaction, and improve profitability. This full-time role offers a base salary plus commission, with total compensation expected between $100,000 and $170,000 per year, paid semi-monthly.

Responsibilities include supervising technicians, managing costs, approving estimates, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Strong leadership and CDK familiarity are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in OEM automotive service management or equivalent.
• Proven track record of managing a profitable service department.
• Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee service department operations, staff, and customer service quality.
• Improve profitability by analyzing expenses and implementing controls.
• Review estimates and invoices for accuracy and fair pricing.
• Oversee parts inventory and ordering to support efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Train and mentor staff to meet goals and promote teamwork.
