Job summary

FullSpeed Automotive is seeking an Assistant Manager to support daily operations across the service bay, front counter, and back office. You will lead by example, coach technicians and service advisors, and ensure fast, high-quality service in a safe, clean location.

This hands-on role splits time between customer interactions, service delivery, and back-office tasks, serving as a developmental step toward store leadership.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a retail, automotive service, or customer-facing leadership role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to lead and motivate a team.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment including the service bay and front counter.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills; comfortable using POS and inventory systems.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and some holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily operations in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Coach, train, and motivate technicians and service advisors to deliver high-quality service.
• Assist with scheduling to ensure coverage during peak hours and seasons.
• Greet customers, explain services, and promote additional services.
• Support inventory management and POS transactions while maintaining shop cleanliness.
• Uphold safety protocols and brand standards across the store.
