Job summary

FullSpeed Automotive is seeking an Assistant Manager who will lead day-to-day operations across service bay, front counter, and back office. You will coach technicians and advisors, supervise scheduling, and ensure high-quality, fast, and friendly service while maintaining a safe, clean store.

This hands-on role supports growth into store leadership. The ideal candidate has 1+ years in a customer-facing leadership role, strong communication skills, and a valid driver’s license, with ASE

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a retail, automotive service, or customer-facing leadership role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to lead and motivate a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment including the service bay.
• Basic math and cash-handling; proficient with POS and inventory systems.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily operations in the store, stepping in for the manager when needed.
• Coach, train, and motivate technicians and service advisors to maintain quality service.
• Assist with staff scheduling to cover peak hours and busy seasons.
• Onboard and train new team members on service procedures and POS systems.
• Greet customers, explain services, and drive repeat business through excellent customer care.
• Help manage store operations, cash handling, and POS transactions.
• Monitor inventory, keep the shop clean and compliant with safety standards.
• Track daily sales, productivity, and key performance metrics.
