Job summary

AutoNation in Tampa, FL is seeking a Service Advisor to bridge Service Technicians and customers in our state-of-the-art service departments. You’ll explain technician recommendations in plain terms and identify up-sell opportunities to keep vehicles safe.

You’ll greet customers, set appointments, determine vehicle needs from walk-arounds, prepare transparent repair estimates, and coordinate with technicians to ensure timely work while building loyalty.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Exceptional customer experience required.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Prior sales experience preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Set, confirm and prepare for appointments with customers for a great service experience.
• Meet or exceed targeted sales goals and customer satisfaction.
• Greet customers and determine vehicle needs based on walk-arounds, inspections and test drives.
• Produce repair orders with cost and time estimates and full transparency.
• Communicate with technicians and parts to ensure timely completion of work.
• Follow up with customers on status and satisfaction to drive loyalty.
