Job summary

AutoNation in Florida is seeking a Service Advisor to bridge the gap between service technicians and customers, explaining repair recommendations in plain language and identifying up-sell opportunities to keep vehicles safe.

You will greet customers, schedule appointments, read vehicle information, perform walk-arounds, estimate costs, coordinate with parts and technicians, and follow up to ensure satisfaction. A strong customer-focus and comfort with technology are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Prior sales experience preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Willingness to follow up with customers.
• Experience and desire to work with technology.

Responsibilities

• Set, confirm and prepare for appointments with customers for a great service experience.
• Meet or exceed targeted sales goals and customer satisfaction index.
• Greet customers in a friendly manner on arrival.
• Determine vehicle needs based on walk-around, inspections and test drives.
• Use consultative selling to plan ongoing maintenance with customers.
• Produce repair orders with cost and time estimates.
• Communicate with technicians and parts to ensure timely work.
• Follow up with customers on status and satisfaction.
• Gain product knowledge to help customers and drive loyalty.
