Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Service Advisor to join a nationwide team servicing thousands of vehicles daily. You will bridge technicians and customers, explain recommendations in simple terms, and identify upsell opportunities to keep vehicles safe on the road.

In this role, you will greet customers, schedule appointments, and drive both customer satisfaction and sales targets. A high school diploma and strong communication skills are required, with a commitment to exceptional service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Ability to set and achieve targeted sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Set, confirm and prepare for appointments with customers.
• Meet or exceed targeted sales goals & the targeted customer satisfaction index.
• Greet customers in a friendly manner when they arrive.
• Determine vehicle needs based on customer information and vehicle walk-around, inspections and test drives.
• Use a consultative selling process to assist customers in planning for ongoing maintenance.
• Produce repair orders with cost and time estimates, with full transparency.
• Communicate with technicians and parts associates to ensure timely completion of work.
• Follow up with customers on status and satisfaction.
• Gain product knowledge to help customers effectively.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
