Job summary

Lucid Motors in Chicago is seeking a Service Assistant to support day-to-day service operations and deliver a world-class customer experience. The role requires adaptability to a fast-paced workload and offers growth within the automotive industry.

Responsibilities include coordinating vehicle drop-offs/pickups, arranging Lyft rides, assisting with Pre-Delivery Inspection, supporting technicians, and helping with shop tasks. Minimum 18 years old and basic automotive knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Basic automotive knowledge.
• Willingness to obtain forklift certification post hire.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.

Responsibilities

• Provides a world-class customer experience to all Lucid clients, both internal and external.
• Vehicle drives include dropping off or picking up customer vehicles and/or loaners, runs to the Bodyshop, test charging at EA charge stations.
• Arranging Lyft rides for internal vehicle moves per request.
• Assist with Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) carrier preparation and vehicle hand-over.
• Assist technicians with basic repairs in the shop.
• Other duties as assigned including but not limited to moving and staging vehicles, delivering parts, washing vehicles, and assisting the service department as needed.
