Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of store or service assistant manager experience.
• General automotive knowledge.
• Excellent customer service disposition.
• Good communication skills.
• Leadership ability.
• Team building skills.
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct all automotive and general service technicians in the operation of the shop.
• Ensure a safe, secure, and trustworthy work environment.
• Liaise between managers, customers, and employees.
• Fill in for Manager in times of absence and make executive decisions.
• Support ongoing learning and development of team members.
• Establish strategic goals by gathering information from reporting documents.
• Define objectives and evaluate trends to choose actions.
• Lead by example and uphold company values and employee creed.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while listening and consulting customers.
• Oversee complete vehicle inspection and prepare repair orders.
• Discuss pricing estimates with customers and promote service specials.
• Monitor the quality of vehicles signed out and supervise up to 10 employees.
• Manage inventory levels and ordering; maintain a clean, organized shop.
