Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year of store or service assistant manager experience.
• General automotive knowledge is required.
• Excellent customer service disposition.
• Good communication skills are essential.
• Strong leadership ability and team-building skills.
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct all automotive and general service technicians in the shop.
• Ensure a safe, secure work environment and excellent customer service.
• Fill in for Manager in absences and make executive decisions.
• Lead, train and develop team members; monitor inventory and workflow.
• Oversee vehicle inspection, repair orders, and sourcing parts; discuss pricing with customers.
• Monitor quality and performance of up to 10 employees.
