Job summary

DARCARS Automotive Group – Silver Spring is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor / Writer to greet customers, assess vehicle needs and generate repair estimates in a professional, friendly manner.

You will advise on maintenance per manufacturer specs, schedule service appointments, communicate timelines to customers and collaborate with technicians to ensure timely repairs and high CSI, while following warranty guidelines and dealership policy.

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Experience in automotive service advisory is preferred.
• Proficient with phone and computer-based work.
• Familiar with warranty products and repair estimates.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and collect vehicle information.
• Advise customers on maintenance per manufacturer specs.
• Generate and provide complete repair estimates.
• Communicate repair timelines to customers and technicians.
• Answer service calls and schedule appointments.
• Promote CSI through post-service follow-up.
